Company Information

Established in 1946 by Thomas J. Culligan, Jr as a construction and development company, Mr. Culligan was primarily involved in building homes, shopping centers and other commercial properties on the Peninsula. His experience in the real estate industry provided the foundation for the Company’s success.

Mr. Culligan’s son, Thomas J. Culligan III, joined the organization in 1966. By the mid 1970s he assumed the management of Culligan Development Company, Inc. Tom’s two daughters, Kathleen Williams and Koreen Paine, joined the organization in 1992. The Company is now operating under the name of Culligan Management Company, Inc.

Over the years the Company has continued the founding principle of providing excellence in acquisition, development and asset management, building on the respect and accomplishment earned in managing a diverse portfolio.

Our properties currently include office space, neighborhood shopping centers and other retail developments, self storage and apartment communities primarily in the San Francisco Peninsula area.
